The Trotter III
This Barndominium home – The Trotter III – is a monitor roof version of the Trotter I/II dogtrot layout with excellent space to enjoy yourself. The different roof style allows for very high vaulted ceilings in the great room and home theater area.
The Trotter III is about 3,400 square feet of living space. It has three bedrooms. There are two and a half baths.
It has a wonderful entertainment space on both sides of the dogtrot breezeway. The great room has high, vaulted ceilings and connects with a large kitchen. It is adjacent to the pantry / mud room. There is also a master bedroom / bath and a half bath off the great room.
On the opposite side of the dogtrot is a large home theater / game room with vaulted ceilings, two more bedrooms and a full bath.
The great room and the home theater both open onto the breezeway via large glass garage doors. The breezeway also has a large masonry fir place.
