The Riverbend is a sleek, modern, reverse two-story design that fits comfortably into a rural or urban setting. It is a design marvel! Just looking at the floor to ceiling windows is enough to make anyone like this design. On top of that – Add in the new “parapet” front elevation feature (that we have adapted from commercial steel construction) with a mono-slope roof and you have a luxurious, cost-conscious high-end home that says “Best-In-Class!”
The Riverbend is about 5,500 square feet of living space and about 1,300 square feet of covered porches.
The downstairs main entrance (which can be designed as a shallow entry area or with depth to serve as a foyer) opens to a Flex Space that can serve as a Den, Office, Home School Area, or Media Room. There is also a Bedroom Suite with full bath as well as a half bath off the Flex Room. The three-bay Garage with glass garage doors and spacious Mud Room dress out the left side of the downstairs area. Finally, there is a Carport / Porte Cochere area on the right side where you can park your vehicles or use the space for outdoor entertainment. Why? Well in part we say this because there is also a Masonry Fireplace included. All of this and we have not entered the main living area yet.
So now, let’s enter and go upstairs which opens to the main living area that includes the Great Room – Kitchen Combo with an adjacent walk-in Scullery Pantry. The Great Room area (with 10 FT, 12 FT, and 14 FT Ceiling options) is cantilevered above the Porte Cochere giving it a treehouse / observation deck feel. In the Great Room, you will see a double-sided, oversized Masonry Fireplace, and notice that the room opens onto a Screened-In Back Porch with its own Fireplace.
And that is only the right half of the upstairs living area. On the left side of the Barndo upper deck are two large bedroom ensuites with walk-in-closets and full baths. There is also a Laundry Room and second half bath to complete this layout. Oh… did I forget about the elevator. Yes, there is space for that too.
